Hidy! My name is Sandy! I am a young adult retriever/terrier mix. I was hanging around this place where people worked, looking for handouts. They were very nice to me and gave me bits of their lunch each day. But they knew I needed more than that, so they called Animal Control. When I arrived at the shelter I was a bit nervous, but my fear soon left. They gave me a big clean dog run to rest in, all of the food and water I wanted, and a bed to sleep on! I haven't had a bed in a long time! They checked my out from nose to tail to make sure I was healthy. They gave me all of my vaccinations, they checked me for heartworms, they gave me a microchip, and they had me spayed. What nice people work here! I am sure hoping I get adopted soon.
