Hi there! I am Darlene. I'm a big friendly girl! You can see in my picture that I am a big blond Labrador retriever mix. I don't know how it happened but I found myself in the parking lot of a busy hospital! I was so confused. There were so many different people and there were cars backing in and out of parking places. Yikes! Finally a nice person took me to her car and she brought me to the shelter. What a relief! Since I have been here I have gotten all of my vaccinations, I was tested for heartworms, I got a microchip, and I was spayed. No more puppies for me! As you can see I am ready to start my new life with my new family! Whoever adopts me will probably need to put me on a diet, because I could stand to lose a few pounds!
